- Use care when turning on a hosebib for the first time. Have someone with a cell phone stand outside of the house and turn off the previously winterized hosebib and hook up a hose to the bib, while another person with a cell phone turns on the shut off valve inside of the house. Both people should check to be sure water doesn't leak at the foundation wall or nearby areas when the water is flowing. Check all hosebibs in the same manner.
- Make sure that the condensation drain for your air conditioner is free of clogs.
