Many of the countertops we recommend contain pre and post consumer recycled glass and cement and do not add harmful chemicals during the manufacturing process or to the finished product. IceStone

IceStone solid surfaces are eco-friendly countertop materials made from 100% pre-consumer recycled glass and cement and contain no VOC's. The surfaces can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Silestone Countertops

Several colors of Silestone contain between 35% and 70% of post consumer recycled glass content. It has four times the strength of granite. It is non-porous and does not require sealing to resist staining and keep it's shine. The quartz in Silestone makes it naturally scratch-resistant but the manufacturer still recommends using a cutting board as it could be damaged with excessive force or pressure.
