Aging Gas Flexible Connections

• Older brass flexible corrugated metal gas connections used in connecting a gas appliance to a gas supply line have been found separating from the tubing and causing serious gas leaks, explosions and fires. Most of this type of connector was made 20 years ago but may still be in use in older homes.  Moving the gas appliance to identify the type of gas connector in place can be all it takes to crack or break the connector and cause a dangerous gas leak.  Ask our plumber to inspect your gas connector for you.
