To preserve the beauty and durability of your natural stone with the proper sealers, cleaners and other products, the following care and maintenance guidelines are recommended:
PRE-GROUT SEALING: Purpose: To protect porous stone from grout staining and make cleaning grout easier.
- The product selected for pre-grout sealing should also be used for sealing.
- Ensure that the surface is clean and dry.
- Apply one coat, per product directions.
- Allow two hours to cure prior to grouting.
- Always grout and clean a small test area to determine desired results.
- Grout and clean per manufacturer’s directions, ensuring that no grout residue is left on the stone surface.
Protect stone from sub-surface staining and ease routine maintenance.
- Ensure that the surface is clean and dry.
- Apply per manufacturer’s directions.
- Ready for surface traffic two hours after final sealer application. Keep area dry for 12 hours.
MAINTENANCE: Purpose: To safely maintain a clean stone and grout surface and to preserve the stone’s natural beauty and integrity.
- Sweep, dust mop, or vacuum the surface of the natural stone.
- Mix and apply per the manufacturer’s directions.

- For economical no-sheen darkened color enhancement on unsealed stone surfaces, use: Aqua Mix Stone Enhancer
MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS: - Routine: Aqua Mix Concentrated Stone & Tile Cleaner. Highly concentrated, neural pH, safe for regular use.
